Happy New Year from Dropshot! Since we announced our opening in Shakopee, so much has been going on behind the scenes and there is much more to come in 2023! Now that we are getting closer to opening day, we wanted to give everyone an update showing the progress that has been made.
As with any large demo/construction project, you always run into a few obstacles and we have had our share as well. That being said, at this time, we are shooting for an opening day in March, but will continue to post updates to keep everyone informed.
From day one we were never going to cut corners in an effort to rush our opening. We want this to be a place you feel proud to call your home for pickleball!!
How It Started
It may not look like much more than a grocery store that has sat empty for 20+ years, but we knew it could be something special.
How It’s Been Going
A lot of work has been going on since we first announced our opening. There is plenty more to come, but rest assured everything is coming together.
Where We Are Going
Stay tuned for more pictures of what the space looks like now as well as a revised layout we feel brings a better flow to our courts and increased accessibility to social space.
