Dropshot is More Than Just a Place to Play!
We designed Dropshot to be a pickleball destination. Living in the Twin Cities, we are acutely aware of the short pickleball season, and we wanted a place where everyone was welcome to play no matter the weather.
Dropshot is a 28,000+ square foot facility featuring 8 courts, a warm-up/instructor court, social/party space, pro shop with everything you need to play for sale and rent, a snack bar to keep you fueled between games, and much more!
We want this to be a place you feel proud to call your pickleball home, and we look forward to sharing it with you. We hope to see you soon!

Meet Our Head Pro, Rob Gray
Rob is a Certified Pro with the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) and USA Pickleball Affiliate. He has been an athlete and coach his entire life. He received his college degree in Kinesiology from the University of MN where he also got a minor in coaching and nutrition and participated as a member of the Gopher football and soccer teams.
Rob has coached pickleball for several years, but after winning the Legacy National Championships Gold medal in Arizona in January of 2022, Rob decided to make Pickleball his career by becoming a Pro with the PPR and by signing on with sponsor Savant Pickleball. He is now the Head pro for Savant Pickleball, as well as Dropshot, and has his own customized paddle with the brand as well.
Rob takes a very tactical approach to Pickleball and quickly identifies opportunities for player improvement in both skill and/or tactical play. His goal for every lesson Is for his clients to have enjoyed the session of pickleball while also giving them an opportunity improve and hone their game.
When He isn’t playing or coaching pickleball, he is tending to his organic farm with his wife Mary, where they have goats, chickens, ducks, and gardens. They also hold goat yoga classes and events at their farm.
