Dropshot is More Than Just a Place to Play!

We designed Dropshot to be a pickleball destination. Living in the Twin Cities, we are acutely aware of the short pickleball season, and we wanted a place where everyone was welcome to play no matter the weather.

Dropshot is a 28,000+ square foot facility featuring 8 courts, a warm-up/instructor court, social/party space, pro shop with everything you need to play for sale and rent, a snack bar to keep you fueled between games, and much more!

We want this to be a place you feel proud to call your pickleball home, and we look forward to sharing it with you. We hope to see you soon!

Co-Founder

About Justin

Justin grew up in Northern MN, attended the University of North Dakota and moved to the Twin Cities. He's been married to his wife Heidi for 25 years and has a 17-year-old daughter Reagan, and a 13-year-old son Henry. He and his family have lived in Shakopee for 16 years.

John

Co-Founder

About John

John grew up in Omaha, NE, attended University of Northwestern in St. Paul and never left. He's been married to his wife Andrea for 20+ years and has a 17-year-old daughter Lucy and a 14-year-old son Sawyer. He and his family have lived in Shakopee for 20 years.

About David D.

David is a father of 5 and when he is not busy with his family, you can find him on the pickleball court! He is a U.S. Open 5.0 and National medalist with a 5.5 DUPR. David has been coaching for 7 years and has coached top touring professionals on tour.

Rob is a Certified Pro with the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) and USA Pickleball Affiliate. His goal for every lesson is for his clients to enjoy pickleball while also giving them an opportunity improve and hone their game.
